About MPS Southwest
MPS Southwest are the official Gyru-Star dealer for Cornwall and one of the southwest’s go-to names for plant machinery and attachments. Alongside the full Gyru-Star range, they are a main dealer for Hidromek and the UK importer for Holp RotoTop, giving them a diverse product offering to support their growing customer base.
The company, based in St Austell, joined the Gyru-Star dealer network in 2024. They made a strong impression at that year’s Royal Cornwall Show by showcasing a selection of Gyru-Star screening buckets. Their participation in the last two shows, alongside Devon-based dealer Machine Serve, has been crucial in enhancing Gyru-Star’s visibility across the southwest.
“In less than two years as a Gyru-Star dealer, we’ve seen demand for Gyru-Star buckets grow steadily. At its core, our business is about helping our customers solve a problem. These buckets are another solution we can offer them — one that really complements the machinery they already have,” says Jason McCullough, the company’s Managing Director.
Jason McCullough founded MPS Southwest in 2017. Initially, the focus was on providing plant servicing and repairs across Cornwall and the southwest. Over time, the company expanded its services to include sales and spare parts. Despite this growth, servicing and repairs remain a significant part of their business.
Upcoming Events
MPS Southwest is set to exhibit at PlantWorx 2025 with Holp RotoTop. Visitors can find them on stand B-23, where they will be running live demonstrations. This event is a fantastic opportunity for customers to see the equipment in action and learn more about the products offered.
