Are Gyru-Star Screening Buckets Compatible with Tiltrotators?
The unique design of our hydraulic system allows Gyru-Star screening buckets to handle the high back pressures and low flow rates created by tiltrotators without the need for any modifications.

What are the Hydraulic Requirements of a Gyru-Star Screening Bucket?
All Gyru-Star models have a maximum hydraulic pressure of 200 BAR; however, the flow rate will depend on the model. You can download the specifications for each model on the respective product page.
Do I Need to Modify My Screening Bucket or Tiltrotator?
Gyru-Star screening buckets do not require any modifications before they can be used with tiltrotators. The hydraulic system is designed to withstand high back pressures and low flow rates ‘out of the box’.
Will a Tiltrotator Affect the Performance of the Screening Bucket?
The additional demand on the hydraulic system may result in the rotors moving slightly more slowly, though this is unlikely to have a noticeable impact on the bucket’s performance.
What Screening Bucket Should I Use with a Tiltrotator?
Each model in the Gyru-Star range is designed for a specific carrier weight range (e.g. 4-6 tonnes). Usually, this makes choosing the right screening bucket an easy process. However, if you are using your screening bucket with a tiltrotator, then you may need to use a smaller screening bucket than you normally would. This is because of the additional weight and boom length added by the tiltrotator.
