Excavator Interfaces

Standard Headplates

Standard welded and sliding pin headplates are available for all of our excavator-compatible screening buckets. Standard headplate types, such as S40 and S60, are often available as off-the-shelf products, though most headplates are built to order.

Interchangeable Pin Headplates

Interchangeable pin headplates are an increasingly popular option for rental fleets or operators who want to use their Gyru-Star screening bucket on multiple carriers. As the name suggests, these headplates use interchangeable pins, which allow the pin centre to be changed.

Open-S Automatic Quick Couplers

Gyru-Star screening buckets will soon be available with purpose-built automatic quick couplers, compliant with the Open-S standard. This will enable seamless compatibility between Gyru-Star screening buckets and any tiltrotator or carrier using the Open-S standard.

Loader Interfaces

Standard Loader Interfaces

There are several loader-compatible screening buckets in the Gyru-Star range, covering all types of loaders from 1–15 tonnes. These models can be supplied with interfaces to suit any compact loader, telehandler, tractor or backhoe loader.

Universal Rail System

The Kustom Konnect Universal Rail System (KKRS) is an innovative design that allows Gyru-Star screening buckets to be used with a wide range of loaders. It also allows the screening bucket to be swapped between loaders that use different width interfaces.

Interchangeable pads mount to rails on the back of the bucket, allowing the interface to be quickly adapted to almost any make or model of loader.

Skid Steer Interfaces

The Gyru-Star SL series are the only poly-star screening buckets on the market purpose-built for skid steer and compact track loaders. A skid steer interface is included as standard with all SL models, making these buckets truly a ‘plug-and-play’ system. These interfaces are also available to purchase separately.

Dual Excavator–Loader Interfaces

Kustom Konnect Dual Interfaces provide unrivalled versatility for Gyru-Star screening buckets, allowing one bucket to be quickly swapped between excavators and loaders. 

This solution is ideal for situations where a single bucket may be used for multiple applications, or for contractors who want the option to use the bucket with different carriers.
